What July Taught Us
July was a month of permission slips. Whether you were navigating the Sunday Scaries, running on empty, or feeling disconnected from yourself, each Sunday Reset was a gentle nudge back toward center.
July reminded us that we’re allowed to slow down, to choose softness, and to stop measuring our worth by how much we’re producing.
Week 1: The Sunday Scaries
We named the Sunday Scaries for what they are: your body and mind bracing for the week ahead. Instead of fighting it, we explored ways to meet that anxious energy with rituals that ground you like lighting a candle, stretching for five minutes, or making a comforting drink.
Week 2: You’re Not Behind, You’re Tired
This wasn’t a productivity pep talk it was an exhale. We talked about how exhaustion can make everything feel impossible, and how rest isn’t a reward you earn after catching up… it’s the fuel you need to begin again.
Week 3: When You Feel Disconnected
We got honest about the moments when we feel far away from ourselves, when our routines feel hollow, or our mind is too loud to hear our own needs. We explored simple ways to soften that distance: checking in with our breath, moving our bodies, or reconnecting with one safe person.
Looking Ahead
For many, August marks the end of summer’s slower pace and the return of schedules, routines, and obligations. We opened the month with Back to School, Back to You — a gentle reset to reclaim your rhythm.
This month, we’ll explore rituals that help you navigate transition with more steadiness and less overwhelm. Here are the first two Sunday Resets for August 2025.
